Vickie S. Poliard
Attorney Vickie S. Poliard is a Haitian American, Miami native who brings both heart and experience to her legal practice. Raised in South Florida, she has a deep appreciation for diverse communities and a genuine passion for helping all kinds of individuals and families navigate difficult legal matters.
Ms. Poliard earned her undergraduate degree from The Florida State University before going on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law. From the very start of her career, Ms. Poliard was driven to build a practice centered on personal attention and strong advocacy. She immediately opened the Poliard Law Firm, LLC, where she spent many years as a solo practitioner handling family law, estate planning, and juvenile law cases.
Practicing solo allowed Ms. Poliard to work closely with her clients and guide them through some of life’s most challenging moments. Her hands-on approach, practical advice, and steady courtroom presence quickly earned her the trust of those she represented. After a long and successful solo career, she welcomed an exciting new chapter in 2020 by joining forces with Tricia Solomon, a former opposing counsel who became a respected colleague and trusted friend.
Ms. Poliard is widely known for her voracity, determination, and tireless work ethic. She is a passionate advocate who does not shy away from hard cases or tough conversations, and she fights relentlessly for her clients’ best interests. Her dedication to the practice of law, combined with her warmth and authenticity, makes her not only a strong attorney but also a trusted guide for those seeking clarity and confidence during uncertain times.
Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys staying active in the community and pursuing interests that support balance and well-being, including travel, wellness, and volunteering. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and values the organization’s commitment to service, leadership, and sisterhood.
